Our user-friendly, online training contract record provides trainees with an easy platform for complying with their SRA requirements and makes it easy for the firm to check and monitor progress.

The Online Mentor platform goes well beyond generic e-portfolio packages and has been refined through our close involvement in the SRA's Work Based Learning project.

Work Based Learning 

We are a leading player in developing Work Based Learning in the legal sector and are at the forefront of the SRA's current project.

Trainee skills training

Online training

Our online content is written 'for lawyers by lawyers', with the specific needs of trainee solicitors given close attention and the content tailored accordingly. The writing and training team at OMT comprises former practitioners with experience of both being trainees but also supervising them. In addition, they have experience as coaching consultants in the legal sector within the Coaching Lawyers consultancy, working with practitioners on all aspects of their professional performance and law firm management on strategic and HR issues. They also have a professional legal education and training background through their work as tutors and trainers at Nottingham Law School.
